As the first location outside of Alberta, we designed this Crave location to reflect its environment. Pulling inspiration from the casual, beachy nature of Kelowna, this bakery and coffee shop duo creates a casually refined environment for staff and customers. A fun palette includes wood tones, light blue finishes, and a creamy white to tie everything together. The bakery is divided into zones for staff use, customer purchases, and a seating area. Intuitive zoning results in a more comfortable experience for customers utilizing the space. This design is both refined and playful, utilizing materiality to reflect the community in which it is housed.
